J.P. Yata is more than a business — it’s a tribute to a legacy. The name "Yata" stands for Yakubu-Tali, honoring our family heritage and vision. Our Chairman, Alhassan Yakubu Tali, brings decades of leadership and trade expertise. But our guiding inspiration stems from the late Tolon Naa Alhaji Yakubu Tali — a statesman, diplomat, and Paramount Chief whose legacy shaped Northern Ghana’s educational and political rise. The international airport in Tamale proudly bears his name, a symbol of his impact.

Issaka Joha Braimah, Director

With over 15 years of international development experience, Mr. Braimah specializes in anti-human trafficking, migration management, and organization development. He collaborates with governments, NGOs, and donors to drive sustainable solutions. Leveraging his expertise, he enhances our efforts in ethical commodity trading, ensuring a responsible and impactful approach to global trade.

Jason Yakubu Part, Director

Mr. Part brings extensive expertise in business development and strategic planning to our leadership group. With an illustrious career as the Managing Director of the Agricultural Development Bank of Ghana, Mr. Yakubu-Tali brings over two decades of management experience to our board.
