02Investing & market entry
Local certainty for capital entering Ghana.
We give investors and market entrants the verified facts they need to act in Ghana, and we represent them on the ground, from a first assessment through to a signed transaction.
Tell us what you're evaluating →Who this is for.
Companies entering or expanding in Ghana and the wider West African region, institutional and strategic investors from Europe, the Gulf and beyond, and international issuers with Ghanaian assets, together with their engineers, counsel and advisers. What unites them: decisions that depend on facts which cannot be verified from abroad.
What we do on the ground.
We screen opportunities and partners, run local due diligence with site visits, document verification and reference checks, and liaise with the responsible authorities. We take market entry and transactions through registration, negotiation and setup, and we represent clients on the ground where a permanent local presence is not yet justified.
For EU importers of Ghanaian produce, that work includes the deforestation regulation: a gap assessment against the evidence the regulation requires, an audit of origin data and permits on the ground, and a due-diligence package your compliance team can rely on. The fees are fixed and the verification happens in Accra. The report reaches you from Düsseldorf in German or English.
How an engagement runs.
Every engagement starts with a defined scope and a fixed price. Fieldwork follows: on site, documented, with photographs and records where they matter. You receive a report built on that evidence and written to support a decision. Where wanted, we stay engaged through the transaction and beyond.
Why J.P. Yata.
Our team sits at both ends of the corridor: senior Ghanaian leadership with standing in the ministries, regulators and banks you need to reach, and a German-speaking client interface in Düsseldorf. We work under a written anti-corruption policy and transparent fees, because our clients' compliance standards are our operating conditions.
